If you don’t hear back from me, please don’t assume that I actually received your message: technology is not flawless, and neither are people. I have had text messages sent before 9 a.m. not actually arrive on my phone until after 6 p.m.! Messages can be accidentally deleted. Names and phone numbers left on voicemail are sometimes not spoken slowly or clearly enough to be understood so that a return call can be placed. Making extra time for
new client phone calls
If you are a potential new client, please leave me a voicemail message. If I don’t pick up that moment, I will call you back when I have time to talk with you. I try not to rush calls from new clients because I know it takes a lot of courage to call a stranger and ask for help — especially with organizing. People tend to think they should be able to do this job on their own. It’s not like calling a mechanic, plumber or electrician: people just don’t assume they should be able to do those jobs on their own.
